Troubleshooting

Why Can't I Get Any Online Search Results

Maybe your firewall is blocking Ergo from connecting to the internet. Ergo connects on the same ports that your web browser will use. If your computer accesses the internet through a proxy you will need to fill in these details in the Ergo configuration dialog box, accessed by clicking the Ergo logo to the left of the search box.

Why Can't I Get Any Local Search Results

Maybe Windows Desktop Search has not indexed any of your local files. On Windows XP you must installed Windows Desktop Search before you local files can be searched with Ergo.

You must first have subscribed to some RSS Feeds in Internet Explorer. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/ie7/tour/rss/ for more details.
